Seafood Bisque

Ingredients


1 - 3 tbsp butter

2 - 2 tbsp chopped green onion

3 - 2 tbsp chopped celery

4 - 3 tbsp flour

5 - 2 1/2 cups milk

6 - 1/2 tsp pepper

7 - 1 tbsp tomato paste

8 - 1 cup heavy whipping cream

9 - 8 ounces crab meat

10 - 4 to 8 ounces small cooked shrimp or other seafood

11 - 2 tbsp sherry


Instructions


1 - Heat butter over medium-low heat; add green onion and celery. Saute until tender. Blend in flour; cook, stirring, for about 1 minute. Slowly stir in the milk, cooking and stirring until thickened. Add pepper, tomato paste, and heavy cream. Stir in the crab, shrimp, and sherry. Bring to a simmer. Serve hot.
