1 large onion, chopped |

2 tsp salt or to taste |

1/4 tsp pepper or to taste |

2 bay leaves |

2 cups water |
| • |
4 cups beef broth |

1 bottle Oktoberfest Beer or Beer of your choice |

2 cups carrots diced |

1 cup celery diced |

2 garlic cloves, minced or 1 tsp. garlic powder |

1 1/2 cups uncooked narrow noodles |

In a large skillet over medium heat add oil and brown meat. |

In a slow cooker add broth beer & water and remaining ingredients except noodles. Cover and cook on high for approx. 3-4 hours or medium approx. 6-7 hours. |

Cook noodles according to direction on package and add to slow cooker or to individual bowls when serving |
